Sicily

Living in Sicily was the initial influence for my Mediterranean colour pallet and the energy in my mark making came from time spent in the studio of the late Nino Mustica.

Travelling back each year I take inspiration from the energy of Etna and the beauty of the Baroque architecture. We lived in Catania on the southern side of this Mediterranean island where Etna towers above constantly active showering ash on the city.
