Drawing has been my discipline and one that I return to constantly .Teaching in our studio in Folkestone by the sea continues to be an inspiration in my life as a full time artist. The way the artist views form creates a unique connection.
Watching wild swimmers in a summer storm and having these swimmers as models inspired a collection of works expressing their strength and camaraderie as well as the energy of the sea.
Drawing and painting from life whether still or moving has always been an important source and starting point for my exploration of our beautiful but fragile planet.
